Cookie Policy

This page explains what cookies are, which ones Daily Discount Hub uses (and which ones we might use down the line), and how you can manage them.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, phone, or tablet when you visit a website. They help sites remember your preferences, function properly, understand traffic patterns, and – where used – deliver more relevant advertising. On their own, cookies typically can’t identify you personally, though they may sometimes be combined with other information that could.

While we work to keep everything accurate and current, we make no representations or warranties – express or implied – about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information on this site. Any reliance you place on it is strictly at your own risk.

2. Why We Use Cookies

Daily Discount Hub uses cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep the site functioning properly
  • Improve performance and page-load speed
  • Remember your preferences and settings
  • Understand how visitors interact with the site
  • Improve our calculators, tools, and articles over time
  • Protect the site against fraud and misuse

As the site grows, cookies may also support analytics, advertising, and affiliate tracking – each of those uses is explained below, along with whether it’s active today.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

A. Essential Cookies

(Currently in use)

These cookies are necessary for the site to work properly – supporting navigation, security, page loading, form submissions, and session management. Without them, some parts of the site may not function correctly.

B. Functional Cookies

(Currently in use)

Functional cookies let the site remember preferences such as language, region, or previously entered information, creating a more personalized experience.

C. Performance and Analytics Cookies

(May be implemented in the future)

If implemented, these cookies would help us understand how visitors use the site – pages visited, time on page, navigation paths, device and browser type, and general location – generally in aggregate, without directly identifying individual visitors.

D. Advertising Cookies

(Not currently in use)

If we introduce advertising, these cookies would help limit repeat ad views, measure ad effectiveness, and personalize advertisements – placed either by us or by advertising partners.

E. Affiliate Tracking Cookies

(Not currently in use)

If we join affiliate programs, these cookies would identify referrals from our site, track qualifying purchases, and record commissions owed by affiliate partners. They would never increase the price you pay.

4. Google Analytics

(May be implemented in the future)

We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the site, potentially collecting data such as IP address (anonymized where applicable), browser and device details, pages visited, session duration, and traffic source. You can read more about Google’s practices at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Google AdSense

(Not currently in use)

Daily Discount Hub does not currently display Google AdSense advertisements. If we do in the future, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies – including the DoubleClick cookie – to display personalized ads, measure performance, and prevent ad fraud, based on your visits to this and other sites. More detail is available at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

6. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our site may, now or in the future, be placed by third-party providers such as Google Analytics, Google AdSense, affiliate networks, security providers, embedded content providers, or social platforms. Each of these operates under its own privacy and cookie policies, which we’d encourage you to review directly.

7. How Long Cookies Remain on Your Device

Session cookies expire automatically once you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device until they expire on their own or you delete them manually – the exact duration depends on the cookie and its purpose.

8. Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies, receive alerts before cookies are stored, restrict third-party cookies, and clear browsing data entirely. Disabling cookies is your choice, though it may affect how certain features on the site behave. Your browser’s help documentation will have specific instructions.

9. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on where you’re located, you may have the right to accept or reject non-essential cookies, withdraw consent you’ve previously given, manage your cookie preferences, and request information about data collected via cookies. Where the law requires it, we’ll ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device.

10. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. Since there’s no universally accepted standard for how sites should respond to DNT signals, Daily Discount Hub doesn’t currently act on them. If an industry standard emerges, we’ll revisit this.

11. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in legal requirements, new technologies, site improvements, or changes to our advertising or analytics tools. Updates take effect as soon as they’re published, and the effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest version.

13. Consent

By continuing to use Daily Discount Hub, you acknowledge that you’ve read and understood this Cookie Policy. Where required by law, we’ll ask for your consent before placing non-essential cookies on your device, and you can withdraw or adjust your preferences anytime through your browser settings or any cookie consent tool made available on the site.
